You Are Approved

We even have down payment assistance for you!

YOU ARE APPROVED!

“You are approved!”  We’ve all heard the commercials from other auto dealers.  But, sometimes the reality is that they won’t approve you and they won’t even try.  I hate to sound like a commercial, but her at Hometown Auto, you really are approved.  If you have a job with an income of $600 per month, we CAN get you approved for a vehicle.

Financial challenges.  We’ve all had them from time to time.  It’s just a reality in our economy.  And, what’s worse is it always seems like they pop up most when you need a new vehicle.  Your old car is on its last leg and you need reliable transportation, but you don’t know where you can get approved with your past credit issues.  Don’t spend days at dozens of dealerships, only to be turned down over and over again.  Come straight to Hometown Auto and see what sets us apart–honesty, respect and fairness.

Our new in-house financing program makes the approval process simple, quick and stress-free.  Just click “Get Approved” on our website or stop by and fill out an application. It’s that simple! Before you know it, you’ll be driving away in your new car, truck or SUV.  No gimmicks, no empty promises, just good service and great vehicles.  We will work hard for you and we’ll treat you right.

I know you’ve heard the old promises:  “We are here to help” or “Only $8 down” I even heard one the other day that said a nickle down and my favorite “We are different.”   They all say these things, but do they really deliver?  Does anyone really believe that you can get a vehicle for only $8 down or a nickle? What they fail to tell you is that you also must pay your taxes, tags and various tacked-on fees up front which can add up to hundreds or thousands of dollars.  Yeah, your down payment is technically $8, but with the add-ons, you have to come up with a lot more down to get that car.

Many of us think that we can’t possibly get financing through traditional means (i.e. the bank or credit union).  But, you may be wrong.  It doesn’t hurt to check and it may save you some money.

Also, if you go the traditional “buy here pay here” or the new “lease here pay here,” you’ll end up paying double what the vehicle is worth.  And, on top of that, the interest rates are extremely high, many times as high as 29.9% APR.  I don’t know about you, but that’s just outrageous!  Then when you want to trade it in for a newer model in the future, you find that you’re “upside down” on the true value of the car versus what you still owe.  Then, well, you’re stuck.

But, the reality is, in most cases, you DO have alternatives to these types of financing even with past credit issues.  Do your research and shop your options, so you’ll have the most positive experience possible and get the best value for you and your family.

Before you go shop, here’s what you need to do:

  1. Know your credit score. Knowledge, in this case, is very valuable.
  2. Contact some vehicle dealers and let them know your circumstances and your score to see what their requirements are.
  3. This is a big one, RESEARCH CAR VALUES!! Don’t let any dealer tell you that price research is invalid. If they tell you this, run, don’t walk away.

No matter where you get your financing, be sure they will report your loan to all 3 credit bureaus every thirty days (we do), not just when you pay out. Also get EVERYTHING in writing, especially any repairs promised. Don’t take anyone’s verbal word on any promise.

There are many used vehicle dealers out there that offer alternative financing that are better than the old style Buy Here Pay Here dealers or the new lease here pay here dealers.

Hometown Auto of Cleveland is here to show you your options and do our best to work with you and our finance partners to get you the vehicle you want. Stop by and see us and we will be glad to give you the tools to make a good buying decision–no obligation, no pressure, no outrageous finance terms. Give us a chance. You may be pleasantly surprised

Your Good Neighbor,

Brian
